Celeste Ana da Glória Eduardo Sambeny has been teaching for 38 years, initially as a primary school teacher, and, later, as a secondary school teacher, teaching English as a foreign language and working as a teacher trainer. She is currently a Lecturer at ISCED Luanda, where she has worked for the last 17 years as a teacher trainer, teaching the modules of English Language Teaching Methodology, Trainer Training Methodology and Teaching Practice. She has a Diploma in TESOL from Manchester University in England, an MA in Applied English Language Studies (AELS) and a PhD in Applied Language and Literacy Education (ALLE) from the University of Witwatersrand in South Africa. Her main research interests are in teacher training development and literacy education.
