Abdulla Al-Dabbagh holds a BA from Wesleyan University, an MLitt from Cambridge University, and a PhD from Essex University. He has taught English, American, and world literatures, literary criticism, and translation at universities in Iraq, Jordan, and the United Arab Emirates.
