It demonstrates that negative cultural stereotypes, elevated to a discourse of power, develop 'the power' to change the world for worse. And vice versa.

Katica Kulavkova (member of the Macedonian & European Academy of Sciences and Arts), is a poet and professor of literary theory and hermeneutics at the University of Skopje. Her research interests include theories of intertextuality, Balkan cultures, South Slavic literatures, and interpretative methods.
