David Capuzzi, PhD, NCC, LPC, is a professor emeritus at Portland State University and a counselor educator at both Walden University and Canisius College. He is a past president of the American Counseling Association. Douglas R. Gross, PhD, NCC, is a professor emeritus at Arizona State University, Tempe, where he served as a faculty member in counselor education for 29 years. He is a past president of the Arizona Counselors Association and the Western Association for Counselor Education and Supervision.
