Compiled by a team of teacher contributors, this ring-binder file is aimed at teachers of English and English literature GCSE courses who are seeking to promote an active response to reading. It covers the 32 most popular titles in the series by many different approaches.
This ring-binder file of teacher's notes covers the 32 most popular titles in the series and is aimed at the whole secondary age group. It is based on twin beliefs that shared texts are central to English teaching and that different novels require different approaches; thus the file itself incorporates a multiplicity of possible approaches. The entries are divided into teacher's notes and photocopiable pages for student use. It contains work which is ideally suited to both the English and the English literature GCSE examinations, but is aimed at all English teachers who are seeking to promote an active response to reading.
