A birds' eye view of the university town of Oxford is shown, with a legend underneath detailing the "cheife places in the citie". A total of twenty coats of arms are shown, including those of the colleges, showing the year of their foundation, and Elfred, the founder of Oxford. The towns of Banbury, Chipping Norton, and Henley, famous for its regatta, are also shown on this map.
