Map of Norfolk originally published in 1611 by John Speed, digitally re-mastered from an antique original and printed onto photographic quality media. Supplied flat in a polypropylene sleeve and back board, the 16" x 12" (approx. 406 mm x 305 mm) print can be removed from the protective sleeve for framing or retained in the sleeve.
A plan of the town of Norwich is illustrated in the top right hand corner, with a legend describing it's streets and major buildings, and it's coat of arms also shown. On the right side of the map, the armorial devices of the families of the Earls and Dukes of Norfolk are shown, numbering six in total. In the top left hand corner of the map is a depiction and interesting story of two rebellions that happened in the county, one in 1381, the other in 1549. All the rivers, villages and woods of the county are shown, making this a must for anyone with a link to Norfolk.
