Map of Warwickshire originally published in 1611 by John Speed, digitally re-mastered from an antique original and printed onto photographic quality media. Supplied flat in a polypropylene sleeve and back board, the 16" x 12" (approx. 406 mm x 305 mm) print can be removed from the protective sleeve for framing or retained in the sleeve.
Plans of Warwick and Coventry are illustrated in the top corners of this map, along with legends detailing the streets and important buildings of the towns. On the right hand side of the map are armorial devices of the Earls of Warwick, and next to these is a depiction and history of the battle of Wolney in 1469. Birmingham, now Britain's second city, is shown as a small town, and Stratford upon Avon, the hometown of Shakespeare, is also marked.
