They all relate to the revelation of God who is one and who gives a notion of his unutterable mystery.The Christian answer to the relationship between transcendence and revelation is the faith in the incarnation of God in the person of Jesus Christ. Jesus is not just a prophet like the prophets of the Old Testament or Muhammad. He is indeed the revelation, not because of the words he has spoken or what he has done but because he is the son of God. This notion underlies the Christian understanding of the Trinity. The continuous presence of the incarnation necessitates a church that certifies the Christian faith by the word of God and the sacraments.>
