The Integral Ego is the first truly comprehensive account of psychic structure since the pioneering work of Freud and Jung nearly a century ago. This book reflects the culmination of their lives' work and is an integration made possible by the tenets of an ancient spiritual tradition known as non-dualism; in particular, the "radical" non-dualism of an unsurpassed non-dual spiritual master living today: the Avataric Great Sage, Adi Da Samraj. The essence of The Integral Ego can be summarized thus: the integration of the ego is the elimination of the ego, which leaves in its wake what is our own true nature all along: God.

D.B. Sleeth has been working in the field of psychology since 1987. He has had a wide range of training from cognitive behavior therapy to transpersonal therapy and currently works as a therapist in a community mental health setting. Sleeth lives in the ashram of his spiritual community in northern California, known as Adidam, where he has been a spiritual practitioner since 1983, following the teachings of Adi Da Samraj.
