J. Charles Sterin is an award- winning documentary filmmaker, investigative television journalist and screenwriter. Over the course of his 40-year career, Sterin has produced over 60 hours of television documentaries, including episodes of A&E Network’s prime- time series Investigative Reports and Ancient Mysteries, and documentary specials aired on PBS. Sterin co- produced a national media project with 10 of the world’s leading humanist thinkers (including anthropologist Margaret Mead, psychologist Carl Rogers and anthropologist Ashley Montagu) and was selected by the Poynter Institute to produce its seminal PBS documentary series NewsLeaders. Tameka Winston is the Department Chair and an award-winning Professor in the Department of Communications at Tennessee State University (TSU). She is also an author and Sirius XM radio host. Winston has been working at the collegiate level for 15 years, and is a popular and respected professor and student mentor at TSU. She was recently awarded the prestigious "2017 Woman of Achievement Award" by the Nashville Business Journal. She was also among the finalists for the 2016 Nashville’s Emerging Leaders Award sponsored by the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce and YP Nashville.
