Each and every homeopathic remedy contains within itself the ability to heal unique, characteristic signs and symptoms and these healing symptoms are an unchanging eternal truth that remains constant through space and time. Homeopathic provings are an effective way to experience and interpret the signs and symptoms (ie. the healing effect) of remedies, yet it is somewhat puzzling that provers are able to accurately access the remedy state during unconventional provings where no remedy is ingested such as dream, meditative and trituration provings.
Sonya McLeod is a registered classical homeopath practising in Vancouver, Canada who believes provings are her higher calling and the vehicle through which her soul journeys towards wholeness. Working with trituration provings since 2010, she has found them to be a deep and accurate way of exploring a remedy's healing ability. During the process of making the remedy by hand, triturating the substance with milk sugar, a doorway is opened to what Jungian psychologists call the collective unconscious. Sonya has developed her own unique method of conducting these provings, inspired by the teachings of Dr. Rajan Sankaran. She has found that art produced by a prover in response to a remedy, spontaneously and without rational thought, can offer important insights to the remedy and beautifully illustrate its proving state.
