How to Read an EEG is organised in three layers or modules. The first layer simulates an EEG reading session, displaying and discussing important features of normal and abnormal EEGs from a variety of cases. The second layer is didactic-a series of brief ""lectures"" on EEG reading. The third layer provides in-depth coverage of EEG technology including electricity and electronics, electrical safety, physiologic basis of EEG, digital EEG technology, and more. The program includes both text and audio, and all of the questions and answers are accessible as a separate self-assessment quiz. Users can navigate sequentially within each module or jump to a particular in-depth topic at any time.
