These conference proceedings focus on the topic of decision-making under uncertainty, smart decisions, management simulation and their applications in operations management for power and logistics companies. The Beijing University of Chemical Technology organized IFDS2015, the 3rd International Forum on Decision Sciences, with this year's theme being 'Decision Making under Uncertainty'. The proceedings collect 7 selected papers presenting the cutting-edge modeling and solution methods and including numerous practical case studies, which are of interest for researchers and practitioners alike. Teachers, students and practitioners working in the fields of decision science, operations research, management science and engineering will benefit from the valuable findings presented in this book.

Xiang Li received the B.Sci. degree from the Jilin University, Changchun, China, in 2004, and the Ph.D. degree in Operations Research and Control from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China, in 2008. He is currently a professor with School of Economics and Management Science, Beijing University of Chemical Technology. His research interests include fuzzy measure theory, fuzzy programming, fuzzy logic, and their applications. He has authored one book and more than 50 articles on international journals including Transportation Research Part B, Transportation Research Part C, Information Sciences, European Journal of Operational Research, IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Transportation Systems, IEEE Transactions on Fuzzy Systems, IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics-Part A, which has been cited more than 500 times on Web of Science, and 1000 times on Google Scholar. He served as the Associate Editor of Information Sciences, Editorial Board Members of International Journal of General Systems and so on.

Xiaofeng Xu received his Master degree (2007) and Ph.D. degree (2009) in Management Science and Engineering from Harbin Engineering University, Harbin, China. He is currently an associate professor with School of Economics and Management Science, China University of Petroleum. His research interests include system engineering, uncertain decision, and their applications. He has more than 10 articles on international journals.
