Jacopo Cossater was born in the Veneto region of Italy. When he attended university in Perugia, he fell in love with Sangiovese wine. Cossater then finished his studies at the Associazione Italiana Sommelier and started an enological blog. After living in Milan and Stockholm he returned to Umbria, where he still lives and works. He's a journalist, one of the writers for the I Vini d'Italia wine guide published by l'Espresso, and a contributor for many years to Enoiche Illusioni and Intravino, two popular Italian wine blogs. Fabio Petroni has worked with some of the best-known professional photographers in the field, and specializes in portraits and still lifes. Over the years, he has captured important personalities from Italian culture, medicine, and economy. He works with advertising agencies and has developed numerous campaigns for prestigious internationally known companies. For White Star Publishers he has created Horses: Master Portraits, Mutt's Life!, Cocktails, Super Cats, Roses, Chili Pepper, Orchids, Tea Sommelier, Beer Sommelier, and Bonsai.
