Great care has been taken to select important concepts strictly based on the new syllabus of BSc Nursing by Indian Nursing Council to meet the demands of contemporary education in the field of nursing. Entire course of gross human anatomy has been covered in ONE volume in a simple and lucid manner. The text is supplemented with over 620 neatly labeled diagrams included to make study of anatomy engaging and interesting. Around 130 colored photographs of bones and histology slides have been included. New line diagrams are also added. Separate notes on histology and embryology have been included, wherever necessary, for an integrated learning. In addition to applied anatomy, nursing implications are added wherever necessary, to create an interest for the students in the diseases and other applied aspects associated with various organs and organ systems. A chapter on Genetics is deliberately included for students who are preparing for PG entrance examination of different universities worldwide. At the end of each chapter self-assessment modules are included. Model question papers are given at the end of text for the reinforcement of the concepts learned.
