This pack offers a unique interactive learning experience for engineering students following pre-degree courses such as Vocational A-level (AVCE), BTEC National, and Level 3 NVQs. Unlike numerous GCSE and A-level revision CD-ROMs this material has been written by a highly experienced engineering lecturer, and one of the UK's leading engineering mathematics authors. The heart of the pack is three CD-ROMs produced by Matrix Multimedia:Algebra 2; Trigonometry; Graphs and Vectors. These include a wealth of practice and revision material, including the scope to enter and solve your own problems. A series of Virtual Laboratory features encourage student-centred maths exploration and learning, which is ideal for integration into classroom teaching or for self-paced reinforcement or extension work. The CD-ROMs are provided with single-user institution licences. Multi-user licence versions are available from Butterworth-Heinemann. This material is suitable for use alongside any textbooks, but it complements John Bird's Engineering Mathematics textbook especially well.
The pack also includes the Engineering Mathematics Instructor's Manual, with full worked solutions to the Assignments in the student book, which are designed to be used as tests or coursework. 10-User License Versions: Each license comes with an additional copy of the CD-ROM. To upgrade for more than 10 users simply buy additional versions. Algebra 2 : 07506 5490 2 CD-ROM with 10-user license : GBP99 + VAT Trigonometry : 07506 5491 0 CD-ROM with 10-user license : GBP99 + VAT Graphs and Vectors : 07506 5495 3 CD-ROM with 10-user license : GBP99 + VAT If you experience technical difficulties please e-mail support@matrixmultimedia.co.uk with the subject header 'technical support/John Bird CD-ROM/engineering mathematics' detailing your operating system and as much detail as possible about the problem including the error message, if any.
