These blessings include health, prosperity, protection, and long life, in addition to His peace, joy, and love. Come get to know the creator who made you and loves you unconditionally. He wants you to have an amazing life now and in heaven. Get God!

Your inheritance

When you accept Jesus into your heart, you become a part of God’s family. You are a child of God. You are a son or daughter of the King Most High.

What does this mean? It means you have an inheritance. You are a co-heir with Christ.

The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God,

and if children, then heirs — heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together. Romans 8:16-17

Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens of the household of God, Ephesians 2:19

For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. Galatians 3:26

And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise. Gal 3:29

In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: In whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory. Eph 1:13-14

Are they not all ministering spirits sent forth to minister for those who will inherit salvation? Hebrews 1:14

Your inheritance starts with salvation and adoption. You are now part of the kingdom of God. You get eternal life. When your earthly body no longer works, your spirit goes to heaven. Eventually, all the spirits in heaven get a new “eternal” body to house their spirit when God creates a new heaven and a new earth.

Salvation is not just going to heaven when your earthly body passes away. Salvation actually means to be healed, healthy, whole, and lacking nothing. *1 *2 *3

The ecclesia (church) is constantly growing and learning and understanding the word of God more and more. Each decade, God explains more and reveals more of his kingdom and helps us understand both the natural realm and the supernatural realm. The church of the past taught that salvation was going to heaven when you died; they did not always explain how to walk with Jesus while on this earth. Many people are still making that mistake today. Salvation means not just going to heaven when your earthly body passes away, but also walking with Jesus while on earth. Living the full, abundant life that Jesus promises us while we are alive on this earth.

Your relationship with God, Jesus, and Holy Spirit is the best part of salvation. Don’t settle for waiting for a great life in heaven. Accept Jesus in your heart and live out your great life on earth. Bring Jesus into your heart and walk with Him every day. That’s how you get the abundant life on earth. What does the abundant life on earth include? Healing, prosperity, wholeness (sound mind), protection, and preservation (long life). We cover all of these topics in detail in the next chapter, but I will touch on them here.

Healing means anything that attacks your body and mind. You can destroy this with the name of Jesus. Do you also need to go to the doctors and work with them? Yes, absolutely. Do you always need medicine? Please do your research because some of these drugs can cause more harm than good. Make sure you address the problem, not the symptom. You can overcome cancer, leukemia, blood pressure, thyroid issues, organ issues, blood and bone issues. Every area of your body is covered by the blood of Jesus.

Wholeness means a sound mind. Once you get close to Jesus and read the word of God, you take on the mind of Christ. This means you can expel depression, anxiety, suicidal thoughts, the orphan spirit—anything that is affecting your mental health can be healed. When these thoughts come at you, throw them out. Hand these things over to Jesus and don’t allow them into your life again.

Prosperity: Prosperity doesn’t just mean finances but also rich relationships, rich health, and a rich soul. You only get this by spending time with God. God wants you to thrive. In this book, we are going to address the financial part in the prosperity section. Far too many churches have preached against prosperity for far too long. God makes a way for us to be prosperous when we follow Him.

Some churches believe that poverty is humble. Being humble means giving God credit for all he has done in your life, including helping you become wealthy. If you want to deny yourself earthly things to get closer to God, then fast. That is the purpose of fasting: to hear God’s voice clearly by denying your flesh.

Some churches and people have gone the opposite direction and made money their God. Money is a tool to accomplish things on this earth—nothing more and nothing less. We need to keep money in perspective.

God gave us the power to get wealth. (Deut. 8:18) Not so we can buy yachts and lie on the beach. God wants us to be wealthy so we can display God’s glory and accomplish the will of God here on earth. We will have money to sow into the Kingdom and bring heaven to earth.

Protection: The angel of the Lord encamps all around those who fear (revere) Him and delivers them. Psalms 34:7

When you make God your fortress and high tower, he sends angels to protect you. Your angels go with you wherever you go. Holy Spirit warns you ahead of time to keep you out of trouble before it starts. Holy Spirit will warn you when to take a different direction or leave a place if things are about to get bad. Listen to that gut feeling. That is Holy Spirit warning you.

Long life: Preservation (long life) is ours if we follow God’s commandments and take care of our bodies. Do not discount your part in this. Long life is given to us when we honor our mother and father. Forgive them for their mistakes. Forgive others for their mistakes and evil deeds, including yourself.

The other cool thing you get as a child of God is a family full of brothers and sisters to help you and share with you this incredible journey. Everyone who accepts Jesus into their heart is your brother or sister. We have all joined the family of God. We all have a different race to run. My journey will be different from your journey, but we are all headed to the same destination: a great life on earth and eternity with God.

Note: All people on earth are God’s children, but many of them don’t know who He is yet. It is our commission to help them come to know God and how good He really is.

How do we receive our inheritance?

Hang out with Jesus and Holy Spirit and read God’s Word. Listen to God’s voice. Find a group of fellow Christians to fellowship with. Find spiritual mothers and fathers as well as a good pastor, priest or rabbi to guide you and teach you.

Follow God’s commandments. The first and greatest commandment is “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul and with all your mind.” (Matt 22:37) And the second is like it: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” Matt 22:39

Speak words of life over all areas of your life. You get whatever you say you get. The words that come out of your mouth will come true. Are you saying good things about your life, your health, your finances, and your relationships? If you get whatever comes out of your mouth, are you happy with what is coming out of your mouth?

Say good, godly prayers and ask God for what you want; Yes, what you really, really want. God said he would give you the desires of your heart.

Delight yourself in the Lord, and he shall give you the desires of your heart. Psalms 37:4

Stay close to God and learn his character. Learn His will for your life. He has much bigger plans for our lives than we do. You just need to learn what those plans are.

Another benefit is that we are not walking with Jesus alone. We have angelic beings helping us, whether we know it or not. Work with the angels. They are here to help us, to protect us, to deal with the evil that we pray against, to help us make connections, and to bring our destiny to fruition. When we pray to God, He sends angels to help us with our prayers. All believers have one or two guardian angels protecting them wherever they go. At different times in your life on different assignments, you will receive additional angels to protect you and help others who are helping you.

Angles are not to be worshipped. They are our helpers in the spiritual world. They do what God tells them to do and nothing more or less. They love God, they worship God, and they carry out his orders.

Angels respond to the word of God. They make changes in the spirit realm that make it possible for us to make changes in the natural realm. They can help you make the right connections, and they can help you fulfill your destiny.

If you are speaking ill of someone or asking for something ungodly, God’s angels will not answer that call. Remember, thirty-three percent of the angels were thrown out of heaven with Lucifer. There are bad angels and bad spirits. This is why you never pray to angels. You pray to God, and God sends his good angels to help you.
