Retired Full Professor from Simón Rodríguez University. He holds a PhD in History and a Master's degree in History of the Americas from the Andrés Bello Catholic University. He also holds a BA in History from the Central University of Venezuela. He has worked at several institutions as a researcher on historical projects. He has published books and articles in journals.
