Map of Denbighshire originally published in 1611 by John Speed, digitally re-mastered from an antique original and printed onto photographic quality media. This larger sized format 30" x 25" (approx. 762 mm x 635 mm) is supplied rolled in a heavy duty protective cardboard tube.
This map shows Denbighshire and its towns and villages, with place names quaintly spelt as they sounded in the 17th Century. A bird's eye view of Denbigh is included, along with a legend detailing the important places of the town. The map is also embellished with Coats of Arms relating to the county, and a wonderful illustration of Poseidon with his trident, riding a horse in the sea to the north.
