Map of Wales originally published in 1611 by John Speed, digitally re-mastered from an antique original and printed onto photographic quality media. Supplied flat in a polypropylene sleeve and back board, the 16" x 12" (approx. 406 mm x 305 mm) print can be removed from the protective sleeve for framing or retained in the sleeve.
Along the right and left sides of this map are illustrations of twelve shire towns of Wales, including Cardiff, Cardigan, Harlech and Denbigh. The four cathedral cities of Bangor, St Asaph, St Davids and Llandaff, and their armorial devices, are also depicted. All the counties and their borders are marked, along with their physical features, such as hills, mountains, rivers, woodland and surrounding islands.
